Located in the upcoming <a href="https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/chencharu-yishun-new-housing-estate-plans-hdb-bto-launch-4399696">Chencharu</a>, which was introduced in June 2024 as the next housing development in Yishun, this 70-hectare site will feature around 10,000 homes, with about 80% being HDB flats. These will be located on the first floor of the carpark along Sembawang Road.Public Transportation: Residents at Chencharu Hills BTO will probably rely on Khatib MRT station on the North-South Line as their main mode of transportation. It looks like it will take about 15 minutes to walk to the station from the BTO. Cycling paths and footpaths will also be accommodated along the corridor.Just a heads up—it might take a bit of time before you can really make the most of all the amenities in Chencharu. It's kind of like how the first residents in new town Tengah had to wait a bit before everything was up and running smoothly. Just something to keep in mind when you move in.Primary Schools: Right now, it looks like Peiying Primary School is the only primary school nearby, just within a 1-km radius.
