One of the smaller BTOs launched in October 2024, Marsiling Ridge at Woodlands is conveniently located near the Marsiling MRT station. While it offers peaceful surroundings, there aren't a ton of amenities nearby. The walk to the BTO is mostly sheltered, which was a relief on the day I visited due to the rain. Despite the peaceful surroundings, there was some noise from the nearby primary school since I visited during school hours, so you may want to take note of that if you are picking a stack that faces the school (more on that later on).&nbsp;<figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:1200/677;" src="https://d213h1b7vxzzl3.cloudfront.net/editor/c329e29d-c2a9-4138-bda3-46a48156eed1-blob" width="1200" height="677"></figure>Sheltered walk to the MRT&nbsp;The rest of the area is predominantly residential though, including the currently empty plot of land across the Woodlands Centre Road. On the bright side, the Woodlands Train Checkpoint is just a 15-minute walk away, making it convenient for those who frequently travel across the border.There aren’t a ton of amenities around the area for now, but I believe that will change once more residences are built in the area. There, you'll come across a variety of coffee shops, a Sheng Siong supermarket, plenty of retail stores, as well as banks and a polyclinic.For a spot of green, Marsiling Park (it comes with a lake!) is nearby, just across Woodlands Centre Road.
